Seniors with dental needs often do not receive adequate care. Creighton University’s School of Dentistry aspires to reverse this trend by teaching future dentists care techniques for seniors.  By creating a special care and geriatric dentistry community-based training experience, dental students will gain greater competency in treating medically complex, cognitive or physically impaired and aging adults.  Foundation grant funds support a project to provide community-based oral health for seniors where they live and reside in three community-based settings.
