DRUG SPENDING PORTFOLIO

No one in America should have to worry about going bankrupt when they get sick or choose between filling their prescription and paying for necessities like food and rent. However, government policies so far, have fallen short of reigning in the ever-increasing costs of prescription drugs. We need to rebalance incentives to increase innovation and price competition and prioritize patient access and affordability. Ultimately, we need to ensure that Americans can access the prescription drugs they need at prices they can afford.

West Health focuses on developing evidence-based solutions with partners from the worlds of healthcare, business, policy, and academia to drive forward change. Below is a collection of our work to help advance the drug pricing debate.
