As director of finance and operations at the Gary and Mary West Foundation, John Little brings more than 20 years of professional experience to advance the Foundation’s mission to lower the cost of healthcare to enable seniors to successfully age in place with access to high-quality, affordable health and support services that preserve and protect their dignity, quality of life and independence.
Little is responsible for overseeing the Foundation’s internal operations and the management of accounting and finance. He is dedicated to ensuring the Foundation is operating smoothly to maximize the Board of Directors, Leadership Team and Program Officers’ ability to successfully work with external collaborators and grantees.
Prior to joining the Foundation, Little worked as the director of finance at the West Health Institute, a nonprofit grantee of the Foundation, and was responsible for creating operating budgets, variance reporting systems and establishing policies and procedures. Little has a diverse background having held previous positions as a consultant, controller and director of finance for both nonprofit and for-profit organizations.
Little earned a M.S. in Taxation from Golden Gate University and earned his B.S. in Business and Accounting from Colorado State University.
