Whatever it Takes (WIT) is a program within Trinity Health that started as a Community Paramedicine Program that was launched in 2017 to support Medicare patients with acute needs. Patients are given the option of being treated in their home as an alternative to seeking care at the ED. The presentation discusses the process of launching this work including the workflows, successes, and challenges as well as the impact to total cost of care. The program concludes by looking at the future of WIT and showing how the workflows have been modified to establish a financially sustainable model.
